I call this my any-time spaghetti sauce. It’s quick and easy. You can make it any night of the week.
This is a base recipe. Feel free to mix it up and customize things to you and your family’s tastes.
Make it spicier, sweeter, or whatever!
I generally like to add a bit of parmesan and dried red hot pepper flakes afterward and parsley flakes for garnish when serving.
Serve with any kind of noodles you would like.
Spaghetti with Beef Sauce
The Classic Spaghetti Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small green bell pepper, diced
- 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1 (16 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 2 teaspoons dried basil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
