This is a great flavor combination for doing up quick batches of pork chops or smoking a pork loin or larger slabs of meat with a ton of flavor.
This initial cooking session to show the recipe was done on the spur, without any marinating. But, especially with larger chunks of meat, and if you have the time, it’s recommended to marinate overnight or for at least 2-4 hours. That allows the Jerk Seasoning and flavor to properly penetrate the meat and a great final result.
To cook this, you want to first rinse and pat dry the meat, then rub with your choice of coffee grounds and olive oil on the meat.
After the initial rub, cook the pork by either BBQ’ing or pan-frying with your desired method.
For this cooking session, I used a couple of dribbles of Truffle Black Truffle-infused Olive Oil and some McCafe Ground Coffee. Then applied the Jerk Seasoning about halfway through the pan-frying.
I generally like to slice it with some rice or with some slaw, but it can be done so many ways! Leave your comments and ideas below.
